This White Breasted Nut hatch, aka the upside down bird pecks in soft wood for food often while upside down. The model was provided by a very talented and generous photographer and artist from Canada. Her name is Bianca Nadeau. Her work can be found on fineartamerica.com also.
I am a self taught artist. I am retired and sketch as a relaxing hobby. Born and raised in Kannapolis, NC (near Charlotte), I have always enjoyed sketching. Most of my work is of landscapes, probably due to the fact that I love just sitting and watching nature. I love to sketch old barns and houses while hiking in the mountains of NC.
