Artist's Description
This is for my abstract friends out there(you know who you are) . I sketched this from a bronze sculpture of two kids playing with their sail boats on a fountain. It’s located in uptown Charlotte. I originally completed it all in graphite. After a couple of days I decided it needed a little extra . The abstract touch is definitely a departure for me but I hope it might appeal to someone. Enjoy!
About Tony Clark
I am a self taught artist. I am retired and sketch as a relaxing hobby. Born and raised in Kannapolis, NC (near Charlotte), I have always enjoyed sketching. Most of my work is of landscapes, probably due to the fact that I love just sitting and watching nature. I love to sketch old barns and houses while hiking in the mountains of NC. My hope is that my art will trigger a fond memory or just bring a smile to your face. After all that's what its all about, sharing the joy of art.
