Artist's Description
This is the first of three drawings showing the history of a local business in my home town of Kannapolis, NC. This is Lady's funeral home as it appeared on Main Street around 1934. While Lady's still exists, this structure has been demolished. The original drawing will not be for sale but prints are available.
About Tony Clark
I am a self taught artist. I am retired and sketch as a relaxing hobby. Born and raised in Kannapolis, NC (near Charlotte), I have always enjoyed sketching. Most of my work is of landscapes, probably due to the fact that I love just sitting and watching nature. I love to sketch old barns and houses while hiking in the mountains of NC. My hope is that my art will trigger a fond memory or just bring a smile to your face. After all that's what its all about, sharing the joy of art. I may be contacted via email at tonyclark761@yahoo.com.

Tony Clark replied:
Hi Linda, thanks. That is actually a commission I did for some friends. This is the building their business was in during the 30's . They had a photo of the building which is no longer there. And color? Hmmmm I might try that, thanks!
