This is my adaptation of a photo by a great photographer, Stan Angel from California. Please view all of Stan's fantastic art (and he has lots of beautiful photos!)on fineartamerica or Facebook. The photo is an old carriage house said to be the old carriage house of the Washoe house built in 1897 in Petaluma, California. Hope you enjoy!
I am a self taught artist. I am retired and sketch as a relaxing hobby. Born and raised in Kannapolis, NC (near Charlotte), I have always enjoyed sketching. Most of my work is of landscapes, probably due to the fact that I love just sitting and watching nature. I love to sketch old barns and houses while hiking in the mountains of NC. My hope is that my art will trigger a fond memory or just bring a smile to your face. After all that's what its all about, sharing the joy of art. I may be contacted via email at tonyclark761@yahoo.com.

You have captured the spirit of a bygone era Tony, this barn no longer stands as it has since fallen to the ground in disrepair. Wonderful work ! :)
Tony Clark replied:
Awww that's really too bad! It was a beautiful structure with lots of character. Thanks for the compliment and the information!

So well done, Tony!
Tony Clark replied:
