This is a drawing of the historic Goldfield Jail in the old mining town of Goldfield, Arizona. I sketched this using an expertly created photo by the multitalented artist, Lisa Baker from Arizona. The old timbers create lots of shadowing and texture. Thanks so much to Lisa for sharing her beautiful work! Please visit her art on Facebook and fineartamerica.com. Enjoy.
I am a self taught artist. I am retired and sketch as a relaxing hobby. Born and raised in Kannapolis, NC (near Charlotte), I have always enjoyed sketching. Most of my work is of landscapes, probably due to the fact that I love just sitting and watching nature. I love to sketch old barns and houses while hiking in the mountains of NC. My hope is that my art will trigger a fond memory or just bring a smile to your face. After all that's what its all about, sharing the joy of art. I may be contacted via email at tonyclark761@yahoo.com.
