I go through those slumps too Tony, sometimes mine can last months...but I have found one way that sometimes brings me out of it..I will get out old drawings or paintings, that I haven't finished for whatever reasons..and I work on them...sometimes that gets me out of the slump. :)

Tony Clark replied:

Hey!!!!!! I appreciate that Georgia, great advice. I usually do Disney characters between projects too. It is relaxing and good practice too.

About Tony Clark

Tony Clark

I am a self taught artist. I am retired and sketch as a relaxing hobby. Born and raised in Kannapolis, NC (near Charlotte), I have always enjoyed sketching. Most of my work is of landscapes, probably due to the fact that I love just sitting and watching nature. I love to sketch old barns and houses while hiking in the mountains of NC. My hope is that my art will trigger a fond memory or just bring a smile to your face. After all that's what its all about, sharing the joy of art. I may be contacted via email at tonyclark761@yahoo.com.
