Artist's Description
This is a graphite image of the Breakwater Bug lighthouse in Portland, Maine. There is actually a fence around the platform which I purposely left out for athstetics. The photo was taken by a fabulously talented photographer, Anne Lacy. Annes work can be found on fineartamerica.com also. I thought her photo was so unique it just had to be sketched.
About Tony Clark
I am a self taught artist. I am retired and sketch as a relaxing hobby. Born and raised in Kannapolis, NC (near Charlotte), I have always enjoyed sketching. Most of my work is of landscapes, probably due to the fact that I love just sitting and watching nature. I love to sketch old barns and houses while hiking in the mountains of NC. My hope is that my art will trigger a fond memory or just bring a smile to your face. After all that's what its all about, sharing the joy of art.
