Description
According to the “Standard “, a news paper in Concord, North Carolina in 1901, this was the church in the Gibson Mill community of Concord. This is where the present day congregation of McGill Baptist Church in Concord, NC began.
The news paper reads,” The new and very credible church was found under roof and capable of being used as a place of worship in pleasant weather “.
