This is a drawing of Ebenezer Lutheran Church in North Carolina as it appeared after restoration in 1939. The church is still active and is at the same location. A large more modern addition has been made to the building. I prefer the older traditional look. Enjoy!
I am a self taught artist. I am retired and sketch as a relaxing hobby. Born and raised in Kannapolis, NC (near Charlotte), I have always enjoyed sketching. Most of my work is of landscapes, probably due to the fact that I love just sitting and watching nature. I love to sketch old barns and houses while hiking in the mountains of NC. My hope is that my art will trigger a fond memory or just bring a smile to your face. After all that's what its all about, sharing the joy of art.
