This was a quick drawing I did of my grandson while he was in a store playing with a toy truck ( which he loves). He also found the hat on a shelf in the store and decided to wear it while playing. I am a self taught artist. I am retired and sketch as a relaxing hobby. Born and raised in Kannapolis, NC (near Charlotte), I have always enjoyed sketching. Most of my work is of landscapes, probably due to the fact that I love just sitting and watching nature. I love to sketch old barns and houses while hiking in the mountains of NC.
